Joseph waits apprehensively for several minutes after sending his message before making his way to the docking bays, where sees the Stalingrad connected with the station he's on. He takes a deep breath, still frightened by the uncertainty of Siali's reaction to his new parts, as he sees her emerge from the ships airlock. After a moments pause, he steps through a knot of people and towards Siali, stopping a couple meters from her and standing, silent, for her to appraise him. He figures it's better for her to notice how he's changed instead of making a centerpiece of his replacement arm.

There are five people in Hell's Gate who support the Avatar Program, but only four decide to fight for it?

Or, there are five people who attempt to help the Omaticaya, Grace, Trudy, Jake, Max, and Norm. However, only four of them make it out alive after Grace is shot by Col. Quaritch before the Sampson is able to get out of the hanger.

Tangek stared for a moment. "Bring it up tactfully and slowly? That there's another Dreamwalker on our side and a means of notifying your homeworld? Everyone here but Silronsem was in on Ngatapa's meeting. We've known Enya's friend was out there; we've been hoping that she would show herself, and that if she did she'd be friendly. I'd say we got much more than we had a right to expect on that score...and you want to just nibble that gift around the edges?

"I won't make light of your efforts--but let's not discount Brenda's either. You wanted allies; you've got one; and you two are not the only heroes in this scenario anymore."

OOC: Is good; I was outbound m'self--but I wanted to give our trio a springboard before I go. :)

How is everyone doing? Thank you all for your comments and suggestions on my fanfic so far. A lot of them have been really helpful.

Just a little update:
Chapter 3 should be posted by May 22, provided the internet in my room gets fixed.

Here is a little snipet:
He was staring out into the forest, trying to peer through the thick layer of fog. A faint glow of the lights from the guard tower were the only other thing besides clouds that he could see. Today marked the day that one year ago, he lost the love of his life, Li Na. He still could see her, every second of every day.

If anyone has any comments or questions, please feel free to post them.

As for shows I'll take more seriously, I've been watching this season of mad men consistently, and I've been watching a bunch of episodes of the hostage-negotiator/SWAT team program "Flashpoint" from Netflix.
Sshhh!! Don't let Nawm hear that!

I knew he'd have something to do with it. :D

Since I have all this spare time for summer I may also look into watching some other series on Netflix. Among the recommendations have been Doctor Who and the early nineties series Twin Peaks. Since it seems to have a fanbase here, I may see if Game of Thrones interests me enough to watch both seasons.

I lent season 1 to a guy at work. He got through episode 8 over the weekend. He couldn't stop talking about it.

And Ean you are right. The latest is 7. I could have sworn they said there were only two more left. I guess I was in shock from the final scene...

And season finale of Grimm coming Friday...

Well, I absolutely loved the first 3/4 of the movie, but I am always disappointed when the story comes to an easy end with lots of details that don't make any sense and lots of promising storylines that get discarded.
But it was beautifully made, lots of good jokes and good special effects, so it still gets a :bravo:

Thanks Ato for the update, now I really want to go! Right now they have the Avengers in 3D. I haven't seen the movie yet, but it might be cool to see it in Imax 3D.

RDA did not represent all of humanity anymore than the corrupt governments of today do. So is the idiocy of a few that dooms humanity as a whole not humanity as a whole dooming themselves. I had no sympathy for RDA and it's cronies. I did hold sympathy for the rest of mankind as a whole.

I dreamt of being shot in the head severyl times. I never felt anything liek that. I just continued living. But I felt the hit and the pain.

But I dreamt of being killed so mayn times already (I think with 12 or so I got nearly cut in half with a saw - manually ... but that's just one example).

Me too. I have had many dreams of being struck by lightening
and where i have or whoever is driving has driven off a cliff. The shot in the head one has hapen more than once. But as you say, I am still here. (don't care for thunderstorms, or curved roads up high, or any movies with guns. Bows and arrows are okay!)

This thread has been cleared by the mod Kievanie

A few years before Avatar this movie was released and it sadly went almost unnoticed I recently saw it on Dish Network and while Avatar without question is the bigger one in spectacle and razzle and dazzle I liked the ending of Battle for terra much more than I did Avatar's.

Why? Because while both movies features 2 sentient species as mortal enemies whether over survival or resources in Battle for Terra at the end the 2 species find common ground and allow humanity to create a domed settlement on their world even though a mad general not unlike Quaritch tried to wipe the planet's natives by terraforming Terra and wiping out all native lifeforms in the process to find common ground and peace after such grievous an act it's a far better ending than to just send the humans packing to die off in their dying world.

At this point we have no clue if humanity will still be around as a species in the Avatar franchise by the sequel but if it is I do hope they can resolve the conflict in a better way.

Yes! a sky person finally falls into the hands of the Omaticaya! This should be very interesting. I have been waiting for a fanfiction that allows a human to experience being in the depths of the Navi home. Can't wait for Chapter two!

But unfortunately the article doesn't contain anything we didn't already know. :sarcastic:
