OC I should come over there and break bones for saying that
YOU ONLY NEED TO WEAR THE GLASSES IF YOU WANT TO WATCH 3D CONTENT. 2D CONTENT PLAYS THE SAME WAY A 2D TV DOES. YOU DO NOT NEED GLASSES TO WATCH 2D ON ANY 3D TV.

I meant that too. But I didn't consider it "finished".

I'm not convinced. If not in the second then at least at the end of the third (given they're all still there) I really want ot see offsprings.
Unless someone is dead or sick and can't provide in some kind of way life is about reproduction, not copulation. Even if everybody tires to neglect that fact. Showing the Na'vi as nature-close living hunter/gatherer culture ... it would be completely illogical to not show a few children. They don't come with a strock you know.

As long as it's a kind of epilogue at the end of the third movie... don't wanna see Neytiri pregnant, it would keep her kinda out of the action loop.

I think the Na'vi tell their children a Tetrapteron brings them.

Ah. Well -I had that when I was in the fourth grade. We had a simple, logical, medical explanation in one class and that was it. The next time we heard anything from it was in - uh - like the 11th grade when we had human and animal physiology in bilogy class, again: logical medical explanations. Nothing too special. And children who grow up on farms or similar learn by themselves quite easily, the same way as human children somehow at some time during their early childhood thta living beings die at some point, even if no one ever tells them or tries to explain to them.

But finally it leads to reproduction. It's the function of it. I know the western hemisphere stupidily worships this all now as something quite different, but it has a logical and clear biological function.
All the 'feelings' people can evolve for each other are just there to lead to that, thus to reproduction. (You know - in reality you don't reproduce because you 'like' each other, you start to 'like' each other so you would breakc your personal border and reproduce.) It's an evolutionairy trick. Humnas don't have claws or fangs, they can't see good, hear good or smell good. The only thing that helps us surviving is ability to sweat (on our whole body). But that's a bit weak to be able to survive all in whole. So evolution came to social networking, as a group of weak individuals have a good chance to survive possibly as good as a strong individual, lonely living being. Humans aren't the only species with feelings, social networks or culture. The evidents are there. So it's apparently a way to life live, as the only real reason for life is to ensure the survival of your species - for every species on this planet. Just the strategies differ.

'Educational' TV is pretty handy - I really like to watch it even now.
Very good are a lot of the BBC documantaries. I curently saw one that was about an quite actual problem and it all started with a danish doctor who found out (through old documents) thta in the last 50 yers the rate of practically sterile man in Denmark increased at 40% - other studies in other countries validated this trend. So they started to find out where that could come from. Was really interesting.
